Soumia Brakta, MD

Dr. Brakta is a Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility Fellow at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She completed her MD and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Her undergraduate education was at Loyola University of New Orleans. Her research interests include uterine leiomyoma involving stem cells and exosomes, stem cell therapy for premature ovarian failure, PCOS, genetics of Mullerian anomalies, and pubertal disorders. Dr. Brakta is an active investigator in clinical trials and an Institutional Review Board member at Augusta University.
