Samira Musah, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute and Harvard Medical School. Beginning in January 2019, Dr. Musah will be Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Assistant Professor of Nephrology, and MEDx Investigator at Duke University. The Musah Lab engineers stem cell fate for applications in human kidney disease and therapeutics. Dr. Musah’s research interests include stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, molecular and cellular basis of organ development and disease progression, patient-specific disease models, microphysiological systems including organs-on-chips and organoids, and therapeutic discovery.
