Jean Paul Metzger PhD

Jean Paul Walter Metzger has a bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo, a master's degree in ecology from the Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse and a PhD in Landscape Ecology from the same university. He is currently a professor of the Department of Ecology at the University of São Paulo, a member of the editorial board of Landscape Ecology, and of Nature and Conservation, besides being advisor to several journals and foundations to support research. Since 2012, he coordinates the Program of Graduate Studies in Ecology at USP. Due to his experience in Landscape Ecology, he coordinates the IEA's Ecosystem Services Research Group since December, 2014.
