Heleen Schuster MD

During Medical School Heleen Schuster became interested in infectious diseases and microbiology. After graduation, she started residency in clinical microbiology. In 2017 she paused residency to pursue research as a PhD-candidate on the vaginal microbiome, immune interaction and preterm birth. In 2020 Heleen will continue her residency to become a clinical microbiologist.
