George Inglis PhD

Dr. Inglis is an Associate Editor at Communications Biology, an open-access journal in the Nature Portfolio, where he handles a broad remit of genetics and neuroscience manuscripts. He received his PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University, where he studied mouse models of voltage-gated sodium channel dysfunction and epilepsy. He also has research experience in epigenomics and in vitro models of neuronal development. He joined the editorial team of Communications Biology in September 2020 and is based in the New York office.
