Esther Schnapp PhD

Esther is a senior editor at EMBO reports and handles manuscripts in the areas of DNA, RNA and Neuroscience. Before joining EMBO press in 2008, she did her post-doc on muscle development in zebrafish and on the characterization of mesoangioblasts at the Stem Cell Research Institute of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy. She was awarded her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany, where she studied tail regeneration in the axolotl.
