Eric H. Baehrecke PhD

Eric Baehrecke obtained his PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellow of the Life Sciences Research Foundation at the University of Utah during his postdoctoral studies. He was a faculty member of the University of Maryland from 1995 to 2007, and is currently Professor in the Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His team studies the regulation and function of autophagy in cell health and cell death.
