Marianne is a staff editor on the Public Health and Medicine Team at PLOS ONE. She completed her DPhil in Infection, Immunology and Translational Medicine at the University of Oxford in 2019. She then spent some time in the pharmaceuticals industry as a medical writer, supporting the development of publications in rare genetic disorders. Her interest in Open Access in the publication of clinical research brought her to PLOS ONE. As a staff editor, she oversees manuscripts through the submission process, providing support to authors, Academic Editors and reviewers.
