
Lise Roth PhD

Lise received her PhD in 2008 from the University of Strasbourg, France, where she studied the role of the transmembrane domain of NRP1 in Sema3A and VEGF signaling. She carried out post-doctoral research on tumor-targeting peptides in Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, Santa Barbara, USA, and in 2011, joined the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), where she focused on NRP1-mediated vascular permeability and on the role of Tie1 in tumor angiogenesis and metastasis. Lise joined EMBO Molecular Medicine as a Scientific Editor in January 2018.
