Tracy Richmond McKnight PhD

Tracy Richmond McKnight, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience in bioengineering research. Before joining Valerion, she led an active cancer neuroimaging research program at the University of California, San Francisco as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. Her research included both animal and human studies of magnetic resonance methods for managing patients with brain cancer. She also has experience with project management and science policy through her work with the California Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program. In addition to her research activities, she is also actively engaged in increasing diversity in the STEM fields and founded TRM Research and Consulting Group to support this passion. Dr McKnight holds BS (Spelman College) and MS (NYU-Poly) degrees in physics and a PhD (UC Davis) in biomedical engineering.
