Received the degree of Medical Doctor in 2006 from the Autonomous University of Coahuila in Torreón, Mexico. Clinical training at the Specialties Hospital, “Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI”, Mexican Institute of Social Security, and National Autonomous University of Mexico, graduating from the Specialty in Endocrinology in 2011. Certified to practice by the Mexican Council of Endocrinology, 2011-2021. Doctoral studies in Molecular Endocrinology at Barts and The London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University of London, graduating in 2015. Postdoctoral visiting fellow at the Section on Endocrinology & Genetics, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health, since October 2015, under the supervision of Dr. Constantine Stratakis. Research interests: molecular mechanisms of pituitary tumorigenesis and genetics of familial forms of acromegaly, gigantism and Cushing’s disease.
