Emily Marcinkevicius is an editor for Cell Reports Methods - Cell Press's new gold open access journal devoted to methods research. She earned her PhD from Cornell Weill Medical College and did her doctoral research on planar polarity and epithelial morphogenesis in the fly. She did postdoctoral work on circadian regulation of the innate immune system at Columbia University Medical Center. She has been an editor since 2016 and has worked with other journals such as Developmental Cell and Nature Genetics.
