Mary Hulihan DrPH

Mary Hulihan is a Health Scientist in the Epidemiology and Surveillance Branch of the Division of Blood Disorders, National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  Currently, she is the project officer for the cooperative agreement, Characterizing the Complications Associated with Therapeutic Blood Transfusions for Hemoglobinopathies and the Principal Investigator for the Sickle Cell Data Collection (SCDC) program, which provides support to the states of California and Georgia to design, develop, and implement the first population-based sickle cell disease longitudinal data system that will collect demographic, clinical, and health care utilization information over an extended time period.
