Keystone Symposia SciTalks:
Ending the HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Follow the Science - Anthony S. Fauci, MD

The following talk via video by Dr. Anthony S. Fauci of NIAID, National Institutes of Health was the opening keynote address on March 21, 2016 of the joint Keystone Symposia conferences on “HIV Vaccines” and “HIV Persistence: Pathogenesis and Eradication” at the Resort at Squaw Creek, Olympic Valley, CA.

Dr. Fauci had to cancel his plans to attend in person due to schedule demands as a result of the emerging Zika crisis.

Dr. Fauci was appointed Director of NIAID in 1984. He oversees an extensive research portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis and malaria as well as emerging diseases such as Ebola and Zika.
