Oliver is a UK-trained physician, scientist and former policy advisor turned healthcare venture capital investor with GE Ventures. As a healthcare and life science investor, he drives deal diligence, execution and startup deal flow across digital and precision health, life sciences, med-device and tech-enabled service domains.
Oliver has advised and supported a range of US and international healthcare innovation projects across technology, policy, commercial, and academic fields. Prior to GE Ventures, Oliver was Clinical Advisor and Policy Fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London, and Clinical Advisor to the Institute’s Director, Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham. Early in his career he worked as a junior doctor in the UK National Healthcare Service across a variety of medical and surgical disciplines. He holds MD and Bachelor of Medical Science in Pharmacology degrees from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
