Dr. Emilie Venereau is a group leader in the Division of Genetics and Cell Biology at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in immunology at the University of Angers in France. Her interest in DAMP biology had started during her post-doctoral work at the San Raffaele Institute. She is an expert in the field of HMGB1 with a focus on its role in tissue regeneration and inflammation.
