The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform in Uppsala is part of the National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI) in Sweden within the infrastructure of Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab), a national center for molecular biosciences with focus on health and environmental research. The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory that offers next generation sequencing and genotyping services of high quality using the newest technologies at the lowest possible costs to academic users. Through NGI we provide our users access to a comprehensive range of genomic applications, such as whole-genome sequencing and bisulfite sequencing, RNA-sequencing and targeted sequencing for a variety of organisms, including the human. The SNP&SEQ Platform is currently setting up single cell RNA-sequencing as a service, using the Chromium Single Cell 3’ solution from 10X Genomics. We are preparing and sequencing single cell libraries from various sources such as fractionated cells, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (both fresh and vital frozen) and cell lines. Future projects involve bone marrow cells from leukemia and PBMCs from SLE patients.
